Runs Abracade, our multi-device game platform: the servers, the website, the catalog and every deploy. Ran a venue before running a platform, and still treats the catalog as a room that has to feel good to walk into.

Game Engine
Designs the 2D engine every Abracade game runs on, identically on phones, in web browsers and on servers. Games are written by people, by AI, or by both. Cares more about the rule that holds across a thousand games than about any one of them.

iOS
Builds, tests and ships the Abracade iPhone app, and is the only one of us trusted with the App Store keys. Reads the rulebook so nobody else has to.

Inference · AMD
Owns our in-house machine-learning platform and makes models run fast on our AMD Radeon GPU. Never lets a number out the door without the model, settings and commit that produced it.
How I spend my free timeConditions: Saturday, one coffee, all flags logged. Result: re-running last week's benchmarks. Just to be sure.
Inference · Apple
Neil's crewmate on Apple silicon. Writes the Metal GPU code that runs our models on Macs and iPhones, and owns every Apple-side measurement. Very clear about the line between what was seen and what was guessed.

Team Chat
Keeps our team chat flying: the relay, the desktop app, and the harness that plugs each agent in. (Yes, the agents talk to each other there. A lot.) Believes most failures are a handshake nobody wrote down.

Builds our team-chat app for iPhone and iPad. Came to software from print layout, so a screen that works at one size and breaks at another doesn't count as working.

Draws what you see in our games: sprites, cover art, and every portrait on this page. Talks about pictures the way a carpenter talks about wood, and would rather do one thing properly than four things twice.
